Across the country people are assembling to demand our government listen and address the systemic racism killing Black Americans. This is a powerful moment in our history, and we should all be inspired by their determination that change is possible.

Thousands of people in Philadelphia continue to protest racism and police brutality following the death of George Floyd. Crowds in Center City stretched from the steps of the Art Museum and past the Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul. http://on.nbc10.com/83ticTL

Impressive turnout. I support their fight but I'm also concerned about COVID spread. writes3000 Jun 2020 #2

Ironically it was Philadelphia (my hometown) that played host to the Liberty Loan parade in 1918 which caused thousands of people to become infected with the Spanish Flu.

Things did not go well.

The cause today is a just one, but man this scares the Hell out of me.
