I cringe whenever this type of "Christian" compares their situation to the passion of the Christ. A crusade that Mel Gibson lit a fire under with his snuff porn film of the same name in 2004. They have turned the Christian experience into the Church of the holy martyr.

The only thing they have absorbed about Christ's life and teachings is his martyrdom. This sense of white victimhood underlies all of their extreme political positions.

They enjoy every privilege in life, yet they are obsessed with the myth that they are being oppressed.

This is what tRump taps into so masterfully. He feels their pain because beneath his strong man bullshit is a deep trough of bottomless victimhood and self pity, having nothing to do with Christianity and everything to do with mental illness< much like Hitler.
