New Michigan poll shows Biden leading Trump 53-41%.

https://www.freep.com/story/news/politics/elections/2020/06/07/michigan-poll-biden-leading-trump-12-points/3153501001/

EPIC-MRA is rated as a B+ poll by 538, though it historically has a 0.2% bias toward Republicans.

*Assuming this is accurate*, Biden hitting north of 50% is a big deal because it means Trump not only has to win over undecideds, he has to actively dissuade Biden voters.

WE HAVE TO GET THE FUCKING VOTE OUT THIS FALL. People who stayed home helped cost Clinton these crucial states. If turnout is solid, then it's landslide territory. WE HAVE TO GET OUT THE VOTE.

Had a friend who voted for stein in mi in 2016. Said it was the biggest mistake he ever made. He got 50 extra people to commit to voting for Biden with him this year.

Folks I know who went Stein (or wrote in a Bernie Sanders protest vote) in 2016 realizing it's not cute this time around. The Green Party also doesn't seem to really have any kind of narrative or force going this time. Now, there are some die hards, so I can't say every Stein voter I know from last time has come around, but it's enough to encourage me.

My wife also had a conversation today with a friend of hers who is quite conservative. This person is not political, per se, just conservative personally and culturally as a result of having grown up in very right-wing Christian schools. She is quite the fundamentalist on these issues. Well, anyway, out of the blue, this person texts my wife today to ask her opinion on Biden, because she is leaning toward voting Democratic this fall and is interested in voting in the Democratic primary in June. I'll be damned! Talk about your breaks in the ranks.
