Was always too inconveniently timed for me to follow-through on, though.

That is, if you also have a video camera rolling during the editing process. Don't forget to include tub of library paste in your ditty bag for comedy gold.

Ideally I'd have a hand-held video camera and a hidden one someplace, plus a mike, to pick up the candid views while I'm busy with the field-editing work. (And that might take some research on what was legally allowed.) Otherwise I'd actually be helping them hide their dumbassedness. And it would work because I don't "look liberal" (especially the caricatured picture Teabaggers have in their heads).

Not confronting them, just getting them to talk freely and let them have all the rope they want.

However, add to that the expense of just getting to one of their rallies. For me, it would have been a big expense in time and money for essentially a prank. I had other priorities for my hard-earned money.

However, I heartily suggest the tactic for others who may be better-situated to follow through.

Not too long ago I was kicking back with friends and the local newscaster said someone had been engaged in "cinimal behavior".

So, of course, I speculated that they were, "...probably guilty of a heinous crine...."

of my 8th grade English teacher. We were having a spelling bee, I came in third since I left the e out of Pharmaceutical...grr but it came down to the final two students and the last word given was Phenomenon so the student chosen to go first proceeded to spell out P-h-O-n-o-m-e-n-o-n at which the teach stood up and said yay, we have a winner! So I stood up and had to correct her and tell her how to spell Phenomenon correctly which she then said no, I believe that is wrong. She then looked up the word in the dictionary and had to admit, I was right. lol

I'll have to pull out the DVDs from that season but I'm pretty sure the Simpsons mobs always had some signs with creative spelling as well.
