Woman dumps ice on protesters from her apartment balcony -- gets promptly evicted

A tenant in an apartment building in Louisville, Kentucky, is now looking for a new place to live after she allegedly dumped a bucket of ice water on marching protesters from her balcony, WBNS10 reports.

According to the protesters, they were walking when they noticed things were falling down on them.

“We’re scrambling and running, you don’t really know what to do,” Keoni Glory told WBNS. “It did legitimately sound like gunshots and people were terrified, running. I mean the crowd instantly dispersed.”

That’s when Glory grabbed her camera and was able to get a few shots of a woman dropping ice from her balcony.

That same day, the company that manages the property where the woman lived announced that she had been evicted.

“We are deeply saddened and disappointed by the recent act of aggression against the peaceful protesters outside of our community,” Lincoln Property Company said in a statement. “Our team and community stands together to serve and support each other and will not tolerate these harmful actions. As such, the resident has been evicted.”

Glory says that if no photos were taken, the woman “would have went to bed that night and that keeps me up.”

Even if the substance dropped is "harmless" it is disconcerting for those below. Not sure how high it was, but from enough height even something small can cause injury.

I can't see how that can be done that quickly. I think an evicted person gets a notice and then legal process follows from there.

First thing I thought too. "Notice of eviction" due to a violation of a lease clause, with some "x" number of days to vacate the apartment, and turn in the keys.

It's a really intense time, lot of planets in retrograde right now so it's high time for exposure and change. By mid to late October we should be seeing some direction but there is also every reason to expect an October surprise this year.

Hadn't heard about this! Terrible!

Yeah, like, reckless endangerment as a charge?
A protestor looks up and gets hit in the eye. A child looks up and gets hit in the face. etc. I sure hope at least no one was injured enough to have to get medical care!

I know all blond women are not Republican, but Republican women always seem to be blonde. Why is that? And I also know that I am just assuming that anyone who would throw ice cubes on protesters is a Republican. Whatever.

Woman evicted after allegedly throwing ice on protesters
Protesters were walking near Omni Hotel when they said a woman in the apartments began throwing ice from her balcony.

Note the balconies here on the upper right side of this photo. The protester they interviewed said the ice came from about 20-stories up so for perspective:

Projectiles with that velocity could have killed someone or could easily put out someone's eye.

In this case, I believe the woman should have charges brought against her......
