doing photo ops with a Bible, and why he’s contemplating a speech about race which would no doubt be something along the lines of “Racism doesn’t exist and I’ve been the best president for black people since Lincoln.”

At this point I don’t think he’s focused so much on trying to win back the moderates and independents that he needs to win the election, he’s too busy just trying to cling onto his base.

He won’t win the election by focusing exclusively on evangelicals, racists, and Qanon people, but he has to keep throwing them red meat so that he and his family can continue to exploit them after his presidency is over.
