1. American civilization is a thin veneer, apparently.

The Police maintain order. They keep the poor of any race in their place, but especially the races with legitimate grievances. Without the Police's constant heavy hand, America would devolve quickly into mayhem and murder. Even with Police, you need keep a personal arsenal to protect your life and property.
