About kneeling

When I was younger, naive and impressionable, I was deeply involved in a Christian church. Initially it was a Lutheran denomination, (Missouri Synod), then later it was a Presbyterian Church (USA).

In the years since, I've evolved and enlightened to a different way of thinking. However, the lessons, scripture and histories I learned have never left me.

So here's my point:

Whenever we were asked to kneel, it was to show respect.

Why is kneeling during the National Anthem perceived as an act of disrespect?!

Republicans are idiots.

.... the reason that our military serves is to protect and defend Kaepernick's and others right to protest including taking a knee, they will remain as blind and ignorant as an ostrich with its head in a hole.
