Trump just quoted someone saying Dems "have gone so far Left that they eat their young"

The tweet tags Fox & Friends and a RWNJ columnist who writes for the NY Post, so she might have made the crazy statement on F&F this morning (or been quoted as saying that by one of their moronic hosts), but I haven't confirmed that yet.

Stuff like this would have been a major scandal under any other President. But every President before him had the dignity not to get involved in this type of stuff.

His Re-Tweeting a guy saying the only good Democrat is a dead Democrat the other week should have caused Congress to Censure him, but it's already forgotten. That was literally calling for the death of 100,000,000 Americans.

It was first said about the French Revolution, but it's shown up for other revolutions. (All the ones I can think of, at least--although some, like the Czech sametova revoluce ate very few and didn't even nibble on many.)

It was certainly true of the Russian Revolution, but once somebody's willing to sacrifice humans to a cause that's hard to achieve, there's nothing keeping that line between victims and victors from shifting.

Lots of Russians that were revolutionaries were killed when they weren't extreme enough or a scapegoat was needed. Lots of fellow travelers and supporters were disillusioned and often killed (if they didn't do the socially correct thing and just hang themselves).

The guy who said it was a royalist, but it's a foolish conceit to believe that people not with the winning team don't sometimes have insights. Gotta get pretty deep into the dehumanization to make that leap; then again, that's what revolutions do.
