to counter any progressive measure as soon as it hits the news. They come out of the woodwork from places unknown around the globe.

Happens every time with proposals on immigration, minority rights, healthcare, gun control, etc.

Until the vast billionaire-funded right-wing media machine is dismantled, it's a feature we just deal with...

Police laying back and allowing crimes to happen. What better way to justify their existence. Then they turn it around to support more cops, more lethal power.

Slow response time, lackadaisical investigation. Mischaracterizing arrests or incidents as more serious or violent than they were.

Reinforce the idea that the bad people are out there and the only one who can protect you from them is the police.
