Trump's Tweets Are Growing More and More Unhinged

His tweet about the 75-year-old man who was pushed down by police and suffered a bleeding injury to his head wasn't "aiming a scanner" at police. That is a completely meaningless statement. No such device exists, in reality.

We can all see what happened in the video of the incident. He was in the cop's way, so the cop shoved him hard enough to make him fall backward, injuring his head. Trump didn't see the video. He simple passed along a lying report from OANN, his Trump News Outlet.

But, we saw the video and know his tweet is bullshit.

Thank goodness, some legitimate news media outlets are calling him on his ridiculous lie about a "scanner."

I certainly didn't notice him "scanning" anything in the first several views of the incident on MSNBC, etc., but the video accompanying the hostile media description did really kind of look like he could be moving a device as if scanning.

Whether this particular one was falsified or not, we have to expect and look for this kind of thing.
