Tulsa Police Gang unit body cam

https://vimeo.com/user18042709/review/426600962/742568c2b4

TPD released the officers camera footage from this weekend. Two kids walking down a residential street with no sidewalk. Cop grabs kid from behind and it doesn’t end there. Fundamentally something has to change to attack a 14 year old in broad daylight like this. He gets choked and gut punched then kicked while in cuffs at 14!

I guess it goes without saying but yes both cops are white and both kids are black.

No marks, all body punches. Lasted probably about 2 minutes. Late 70’s.

They released the body cam here because they said the video of the other gentleman across the street didn’t tell the whole story. It looks worse up close!

Their training is in some weird form of public counterinsurgency. They have a completely trained incapacity to act properly.

That's what ACAB means, and it is clearly the correct position on modern police departments.

Watch Now: Tulsa police release video of officers handcuffing black teens for jaywalking; Internal investigation under way

(snips)
Tulsa police on Tuesday released videos showing at least two white officers handcuffing and later arresting a black teenager they stopped for walking in the street. Police said an internal investigation has been initiated.

Two officer body camera videos show police detaining two black teens for jaywalking about 5 p.m. Thursday in the 1300 block of North Osage Drive, police said in a news release. Each video lasts about 21 minutes. They show at least one officer forcing a teen to the ground and then holding him down with his arms and knees while the teen was handcuffed lying on his stomach.

About 15 minutes into the videos, an adult appears across the street and asks officers why they are treating the teens the way they are. The man, who is black, walks partially into the street, and one of the officers threatens to also arrest him if he doesn’t “get out of the street.” The man backs up to the sidewalk but continues to question officers.

“You don’t have to do all that sh--!” he says. “I’m watching you assault that little boy right there!”

Unbelievable. This is why we've having mass protests. Two young boys walking down a residential street and cops claim they're jaywalking.

Took two cars of cops and all they had to do was act like public servants and warn the kids if they were in the wrong. Instead, they approached the kids aggressively (frightening them) and then cuffed and arrested both.

Perhaps Tulsa needs new cops with new civil public servant attitudes......
