As per usual she gave an excellent, detailed windup to the issues but it ran so long (and left me so mad/dispirited that I was halfway for someone to pass the cyanide capsules), that I missed the segment on what we are going to do about it.
Rachel is good. But damn, I wish she'd get to the point a little sooner.

(114,685 posts)I missed it and she only gave him a couple of minutes after the commercial break after a more than 20-minute wind-up to the problem. She has a habit of doing this. A long detail of the problem and virtually zero time allotted to someone brought on to discuss what is happening to address it.

Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
