I’ve been thinking that it’s that we were all home and able to watch the George Floyd video, which created a shared experience as a nation, and that people had time to join protests (plus a restlessness to get out, and nice weather), BUT I completely left out the political milieu, which is just as important.

The perfect storm to get woke.

I hope we don’t drift off again before the work is done....
