And, once again, Jose Andres is stepping up:

I’m announcing that On election date I will set up a water, food and restrooms support system to help people standing long hours on a line, on the different States that may have a problem handling voters! @EmCollective

(Unbelievable that it has come to this)

even he wasn't able to obtain a mail-in ballot (and he called and wrote letters).

Something better change between now and November.

needs to be done. It's hard to excuse yesterday's performance, but voters can help too by voting early and by mail.

I think it was Grover Norquist who said "the more people who vote, the worse things are for US." (don't quote me on that&quot

there isn't one." Of course, I'm agnostic so I don't know if there is or isn't one. But I appreciate the sentiment all the same. Chef Andres could choose to just be a fantastic chef and delight many people with his delicious food, but he's chosen to do so much more for the world. I'm unbelievably inspired by him.

In 1761 our Founder were chanting "No taxation without representation". That was one of the founding principals of the United States. This new law would, based on that, would insure your right to vote. If that right is infringed, the victim would be exempt from all local, state and federal taxes, include property and sales taxes for 4 years.
Lets see how willing local governments would be to make sure you get to vote.
