Donald Trump referred to Jared Kushner, his son-in-law and senior White House adviser, as "my star" during a Monday White House roundtable with law enforcement.
During the event, Kushner praised law-enforcement officials, several of whom were invited to the event, for embracing reform and "coming together to fix" policing after hearing the "cries from the community."
He added, "Hopefully at this time where there's a lot of people in the country who are feeling different pain and feeling different concerns, law enforcement can be a leader in coming together and helping us work towards bringing solutions that could bring this country forward."
Trump then thanked Kushner and called him "my star."

(2,517 posts)I am galled to no fucking end at what/how donnie-t's son-in-law is able to have his hand in so many important matters to all of us.
The 'it's good for the goose, good for the gander' will certainly be helpful for the Democratic leaders when we regain the presidency and COngress this fall - the republicans have been complicit in setting this fucking precedent and I want Joe and his team to use every lever than can pull to help clean up our country!

(23,093 posts)He's the more handsome, but just as venal, evil, incompetent, ignorant, entitled, greedy, narcissistic, grifting, lying, racist who fails at everything he touches. That means drumpf has no intention of letting anything good happen and knows Kushner can be counted on to fail and will just make things worse - if he can.
