Truth is often stranger than fiction (or I kid you not.). The son of my friend is a translator. Japanese to English. Novels, short stories, screenplays, etc. Last night in his work he came across a Japanese word he didn't know. 禍, pronounced maga, It's archaic Japanese, rarely used nowadays. Here's the definition:
禍, pronounced maga, n. (archaic) wickedness, evil, calamity, disaster and in the adjective form... the word
禍々しい、"magamagashii" it has three meanings:
1) ominous, ill-omened; 2) annoying 3) seeming to be true but not actually so.

(12,620 posts)7. Except we all know the "G" is actually a cover letter to mask the "W"
We all know in our guts that "Make America White Again" is what trump and his republican cracker friends are all about.

It may have started out as "Make America Great Again" That may have been the original intent. BUT THE JAPANESE TRASLATION HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A MORE REALISTIC VIEW OF "MAGA"

He also said it's not a word he's run across before, but sure enough, it's in his dictionary. LOL!
