A new definition of MAGA - seen on a friends FB page.

Truth is often stranger than fiction (or I kid you not.). The son of my friend is a translator. Japanese to English. Novels, short stories, screenplays, etc. Last night in his work he came across a Japanese word he didn't know. 禍, pronounced “maga,” It's archaic Japanese, rarely used nowadays. Here's the definition:

禍, pronounced “maga,” n. (archaic) wickedness, evil, calamity, disaster and in the adjective form... the word
禍々しい、"magamagashii" it has three meanings:
1) ominous, ill-omened; 2) annoying 3) seeming to be true but not actually so.

It may have started out as "Make America Great Again" That may have been the original intent. BUT THE JAPANESE TRASLATION HAS TURNED OUT TO BE A MORE REALISTIC VIEW OF "MAGA"

He also said it's not a word he's run across before, but sure enough, it's in his dictionary. LOL!
