Hopefully his name recognition will help him do well. Do we have another nominee? When is that primary? It would be neat to see them campaign together.

There won't be a primary for the other seat currently being held by Loeffler. There is a "jungle" vote on November 3, with all the candidates from both parties running. If no one candidate gets more than 50%, there will be a run-off for the top two in January (I think).

But just to be accurate - he's the Democratic nominee for the U.S. Senate representing Georgia - not the Georgia Senate.

I know you know that, I don't want anyone else to get confused.

I just hope that Abrams and democrats in Georgia saw what happened with long lines and don't let the republicans there ratfuck the General in November.

If people can't get setup for mailin ballots, huge efforts need to be made to identify those people and get them out to early vote during quiet times at the in person polling locations, so that they can practice social distancing and wipe stuff down. Don't wait until Election Day to vote because republicans are going to do stuff to knock down vote in areas that will hurt them.

Some may ask why democratic voters need to go to those extremes. The answer should be obvious. Republicans will keep doing dirty tricks until we vote in mass and vote them out of office. Only when they have no power will we be able to make voting fair for everyone.

I read that the entire Georgia Legistlature is up for election in November. That is a massive opportunity to bring about change.
