all over the country. Of course.

That just wouldn't be acceptable to most people, including in the south, and not to the Nascar family itself, who have always branded their races as family entertainment. Also of course, most conservatives have always tended to make a really big deal (sometimes graven-image level) about respecting the American flag.

It's a minority of attendees who'd bring flags of varying sizes to fly on their vehicles out in the parking lots and carry small ones to wave in the stands -- not big ones, though.

A whole lot of groups of families and friends park or camp together, but together or alone, they're liable to choose to park away from the confederate flag sorts because avoiding those who display what most people read as aggressive hate symbols is just sensible.

Is the limited to racing teams and advertisers or are they going to deny entrance to flags on clothing hats lighters etc.

about there probably already being a bunch of fights at the gates and shirtless fat guys at the races.

I may be incorrect, but it is my understanding that the flag is banned altogether - not just for the teams.

How well that is enforced is another issue, of course.

I remember looking at an old picture of a football crowd at an Ole Miss football game. There was nothing but a sea of confederate flags. There is little chance that you see one of those flags at a football game in the South now. Yeah, a knucklehead or two will wear shirts or patches with the confederate flag, but they stand out like a sore thumb.
