Basically, Biden is not just picking a VP, he's picking the next POTUS.

Last edited Wed Jun 10, 2020, 07:55 PM - Edit history (1)

Biden will not run again in 2024. The Democratic VP will be the front runner for the opening.
Also, and I hate to think it, but Biden may have health issues before 2024. I'm sure these
things factor into his decision. Pick someone who Democrats will get behind in 2024.

We have so many women to chose from..I just don't want to lose a senate seat..unless we have a definite D in the seat...we just won't know..Thus, Val Demings IMHO fits the bill..but then we have Stacey Abrams, both women are dynamic...as are..

Duckworth, Harris, or Warren - certainly among the running..but the senate??

Just musing....

..if either had been the 2020 candidate against Trump, would we be predicting them to serve only 1 term because of age?

Joe Biden will do what is necessary at that moment.
Lets work for 2020 first.

Since the nominees began to choose their own running mates only two VP’s have become President. Truman became President upon FDR’s death and Johnson became President upon Kennedy’s death.

Hubert Humphrey ran and lost.

Walter Mondale ran and lost.

Al Gore ran and lost.

Hopefully, Joe Biden will end that losing streak.
