OH State Senator asks if "colored population" is hit hard by Covid19 because they don't wash hands

"COLUMBUS- During a hearing on whether to declare racism a public health crisis, state Sen. Steve Huffman, R-Tipp City, asked if “the colored population” is hit harder by the coronavirus because perhaps they don’t wash their hands as well as other groups"

Wherever that is. I mean this man felt very comfortable making a statement like that. So I would assume he felt he would get adequate cover from the people that he represents. But I guess we will soon find out.

It's a few miles north of me.

I mostly just drive past it on I-75, but it has a reputation for this region of being very white.
