Trump Approval Plummets Ten Points in Less Than a Month in New Gallup Poll

Trump’s job approval rating has dropped by 10 points in less than a month, according to a Gallup poll released Wednesday.

As late as mid-May, 49 percent of respondents approved of Trump’s job performance in the same poll. That approval has since dropped to 39 percent, moving closer to the president’s average job approval rating of 40 percent throughout his term. (The latest poll was conducted from May 28 through June 4.)

Of the past eight U.S. presidents, only two received worse approval ratings than Trump at the same point in their terms: George H.W. Bush, who stood at 37 percent in June 1992, and Jimmy Carter, at 32 percent in July 1980. Neither of them were reelected.

Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama were reelected with approval ratings of 49 percent and 46 percent, respectively.

Over the past few weeks, Trump’s approval rating has fallen among Republicans, Democrats, and Independents.

"Presidents George W. Bush and Barack Obama were reelected with approval ratings of 49 percent and 46 percent, respectively."

Bush had approval ratings of 49%? He spent 9 months at his fake Texas ranch and 9/11 happened. He fucking lied us into a war with Iraq and dumped a trillion taxpayer dollars there). Hint: Saudi Arabian's accounted for 90+% of the 9/11 hi-jackers. He gave the top 10% a trillion dollar taxcut. New Orleans drowned because of his failed actions to address the situation. And his "approval" was 49%? Fuck that. Ohio gamed the election for Bush, but I sincerely doubt that he had a better approval rating than Obama. The man who started his Presidency dealing with a Republican induced financial rectal lock-up. Obama put an end to the Iraq debacle (created by Bush and Cheney/Halliburton), and got the economy going again (see reality). Oh yeah, he was also a rock star - on the world stage - for US interests around the world. The people loved and were inspired by him. And that prestige translated into a better US economy.

And Bush had +3% advantage over Obama on his re-election? Fuck that Bullshit. Bush lost by a million the 1st time, doubtful he gained a single Democratic vote for his re-election.

Sorry, won't take that "approval" rating as any fact supported by my reading of events as a life-long (67 and counting) student of politics and sociology.
