Sounds like a pretty good idea! It's for Amy McGrath

(94,729 posts)No indication which PAC is raising the money and how they're spending it...
I can tell you that this is NOT for Amy McGrath's campaign.
(nb - as I've mentioned before, I don't recommend emotional contributions against politicians you don't like. Support candidates you know can actually win).

(30,613 posts)Democratic senatorial candidate Amy McGrath appears to have a very narrow lead over Senate Majority Leader Mitch McConnell in Kentucky's race, according to a recent poll.
The polling, which was conducted by RMG Group, shows McGrath, a former Marine fighter pilot, with the support of 41 percent of voters, while McConnell is backed by 40 percent. However, the polling also showed that when voters are informed that McGrath supports congressional term limits while McConnell does not, her lead over the Republican jumps significantly.
With the candidates' positions on term limits factored in, McGrath was backed by 45 percent of respondents, while McConnell was supported by just 30 percent. But 17 percent of those surveyed were still undecided, and 8 percent said they'd vote for a different candidate.
Looks pretty strong to me!
No point sending money to somebody who is definitely winning; that's a waste. Send it to somebody who has a good shot and needs a little boost.
I agree about the OP though; this money does not appear to be going to McGrath.

(94,729 posts)No polling data to suggest otherwise; McConnell has a huge war chest. Kentucky has re-elected him for years.
