They will do it after it's too late to apply for a mail-in vote. It happens every time.

8. I've lived in FL all my 49 years. This is not a big enough lead.

Over the past 30 years, the FL GOP has been incredibly good at turning out its base. The FL Democratic Party not so much. I hope I am surprised and we take this state back!

14. Democratic outreach in Florida is beyond incompetent

Every cycle we wait until the final weeks and somehow think it counts as emphasis. Meanwhile the other side pushes Florida all year every year. There is no great mystery toward why we fall short.

This year is no different than recent years. Donna Shalala contacts me regularly. She knows what she is doing, identical to 2018. Otherwise I don't exist to the Democratic Party. However, the Republican Party totally ignores registration realities and bombards me all the time. I have received material from Mitch McConnell and Lindsey Graham. I have received several mailers saying I have been specifically selected to fill out some long survey. It turns out to be a pro-Trump mailer urging donations to him.

Not only that, but my spam folder is loaded with one GOP propaganda email after another. The system recognizes them as spam. But that's not the point. This is a numbers game. The more are sent out the more some people will be gullible to them. Not every email system will identify them as spam.

Occasionally I receive pro-GOP emails that are not marked as spam. As soon as I "unsubscribe" the same email will show up under a different sender address.

That is what we are dealing with. Anyone who believes this is going to be easy is an outright fool. While we looked back and tried to figure out what happened with Russia 2016 the Republicans were looking forward and perfecting all their fraud and suppression and bombardment tactics toward 2020. I'm sure this is happening elsewhere and not merely Florida.

15. Is there anyone on this board who is connected within the power structure of the FL Dems?

Power structure such as it is?

We need to do better as a party starting right now. This is a long known problem. FL should be bluer than it is. It’s no California or New York, but it should at least be trending towards Virginia, MI, or CO.

and other conservative Christians is dipping notably. There are a lot more than enough of them in Florida for a shift to decide this state.

Currently it's thought they'll continue their past patterns of supporting him in spite of his depraved indifference to life and various blasphemies. The evangelicals' righteous battle is against us. But there are big conflicts between politicalized doctrine of fatalistically battling evil Democratic attacks on their worldly goods and freedoms and the traditional doctrines of Jesus's teachings.

The course of this pandemic might shake their faith in the righteousness of their own course. What I keep wondering is whether a big second wave would become real to people before or after election day.
