The lack of a competitive primary for Republicans is the major reason why that difference increased 44 points. Yes, Wake is a reliably blue county but some context is needed here.

I didn’t vote in the SC Dem primary this week. The reason - there wasn’t a single Dem race in my precinct. By the logic of this guy’s tweet, that would mean I moved towards the Rs.

You wouldn’t know Cary. It’s now the 7th largest city in N.C.
Basically an upper class bedroom community for Raleigh-Durham.

The Koch brother bought North Carolina in the early 2000's. The republicans screwed up everything, and we still have a majority republican house and senate in our state government as a result of all that koch, and later, Russian money coming into the state.

I hope those days are over.
