Rachel Maddow: "Today, General Milley apologized for his appearance in that 'Death of the Republic' photo op."
HAHA!
That makes TWO catch phrases this week that deserve to go down in history.
1. Rachel Maddow re-naming "bible-gate" (VERY droll) as the 'death of the republic photo-op'.
and
2. Steve Schmidt dubbing Trump as "The second President of the Confederacy."
Trump's knuckle-dragging base totally got off on these images, as the triumph of their tribe over the liberals. Just like Saddam Hussein's tribe in Tikrit got off on the videos of him taking over the Iraq Baathist government. But anybody with more than a second grader's knowledge of history recognizes it as a classic 'Death of the Republic' image. And I, for one, will not rest until every one of those assholes who accompanied this candy-assed Caesar wannabe on his national walk of shame is in jail for sedition.
