The combination of seasonal flu, Covid 19, and no national plan.

It looks like the summer weather is not going to slow the virus. Some hospitals across the country are running out of beds as the virus continues to spread.

If we have a bad flu season along with a surge in Covid cases this fall/winter, it could overwhelm hospitals. On top of that Trump is not interested in putting any kind of national, federally led plan in place, to deal with what could become a very dark, scary, fall/winter.

This is nuts, Trump is nuts. All Trump cares about is protecting himself. He knows if he is not reelected, he loses the protection of the presidency. He knows what is going to happen when he loses that protection. He has made many powerful enemies who will want justice for all the crimes he has committed.

It is also nuts, the Republicans in congress are still going along with Trump. You would think they would push him to do more at the federal level to deal with this pandemic. If the pandemic continues to spread, continues to kill thousands of Americans, the Republicans will pay a heavy price this November. None of it makes any sense.

1. Utter insanity

It's going to be a rough ride. When the letters, emails, appeals and tweets to local officials don't make a difference anymore, it's time to keep our heads down. This will be a grim marathon of planning, strategy, timing and patience.

might be beholden to Putin or in some way compromised and easily blackmailed.
