Dear President Biden, please don't "move on"

The unaccountable criminal behavior of this Administration is unsurpassed. From firing IGs in the middle of investigations to the doling out of hundreds of billions without oversight. From collusion with foreign powers to lining there own pockets at every turn. We must not "move on" from this Presidency. There must be a reckoning with this lawlessness or the Law has no meaning.

But I have an honest question. What specific laws have they broken? I know Pompeo had those skeezy fancy dinners on our dime, but is that against the law? Barr has run roughshod over our DOJ, but has he done anything criminal?

I want these jerks behind bars too, but we need to make sure we have specific charges that can stick!

we need Roosevelt type programs that work in the 21st century...Green energy is but one. It must be left to the AG not congress and not the president to prosecute any of the wrong doers...most of whom will be pardoned. I expect state level prosecutions. But our priority must be to save the economy. That will be a full time job. We must send help to the people. Once the Trumpists are gone...no one will care if they don't have a job and/or healthcare.

Perhaps a Special Commission to investigate?

We can't just walk away from this mess. Another option is to set Congress on the task of codifying some of these issues that were previously understood to be givens that this administration stomped all over.

Prosecuting crimes will be the decision of whomever Biden appoints as AG and even then, a "hands-off" policy would suffice if the AG does not actively interfere with investigations. Barr's interference in the Mueller investigation, the Epstein case, and Barr's apparent interest in conspiracy theories originating on the right must be held as exactly what not to do by Biden's administration.
That said, my fear is that Nice Guy Joe will make a statement about the departing administrations "service to our country" and offer a pardon if and when high level officials from the Disgrace are indicted. That must not happen.

If it is followed by snapping on blinders and another "move forward" speech.

Will Fox News/Rush Limpballs/Alex Jones/QAnon go into overdrive if Democrats roll up their sleeves and investigate and prosecute Trump and his cult leaders? Of course. But they would already be losing their voices, one or two notches up in their fake hysteria wouldn't make a lot of difference.

Just like the Impeachment hearings, it did not hurt them, even if it didn't move many Republicans other than Mitt. But what it did was at least make an historical marker, which I believe will be looked at with more astonishment at Republican behaviour as time passes.

I do fear a rash of cowardly mass shootings by enraged MAGAts and KKK members, and maybe even some attempt to organize far right militias to "take back America". But those are issues we shouldn't let dictate what is right to do to for the future state of the nation.
