We should all do something on DU to celebrate when Trump's average approval falls below 40. (Original Post) Doodley Jun 2020 OP

I believe his numbers could drop to 10% and they will still do their best to steal the election.

Basically nothing else matters. I've long been worried that Trump's approval would tick up to 44 or 45 on 538 late during 2020.

And that would have happened except for the delicious reality that a lowlife like Donald Trump cannot shut up and allow the natural advantages of incumbency to work in his favor.

Think about it. Any competent and intelligent president should have received an approval bump of at least 5% during coronavirus. He/she would have been on top of it early, based on indications from overseas. Necessary organizations would have been fully funded and prepared. He/she would have had the top experts front and center while taking advantage of their expertise and calmly emphasizing needed steps and precautions. We had the incredible advantage of going last, not first.

Hillary's approval would have soared during this pandemic.
