Football players at UT-Austin say they won't help recruit new players/go to donor events until:
- Certain campus buildings renamed
- New students are educated on history of campus racism
- The Eyes of Texas is swapped out with another song, and athletes no longer required to sing

1. The death of George Floyd triggered this, but this has come to a head...

because of Trump's unrestrained and extremist christofascist agenda.

People are tired of the hate and they are tired of Trump. The more that nutjob stokes this (see next Friday's bigot fest in Tulsa) the bigger he is going to lose. The bigger the racist right is going to lose.

2. My son goes to UT-A and there is lots of support for this.

It will be interesting to see what happens.

3. I have a son down there also and he looks very handsome in a black mask, among the crowd.

I took a peak at his FB to see what was up, lol. I thought he would be a participant. He has been busy. Lol. I had such a blast reading his peers on all the things he has posted and really impressed how smart he is. He even had a couple posts that I have put on my wall. Arguing well, so I do not need to do any coaching, so I was really tickled today. I was very really proud.

So, I just sent this to him and I got the information to him before he had it. A win. We compete.

5. You betcha. When I was thinking of this earlier, I was sharing with two other mothers who kids where

doing exactly the same. Awesome.
