Hippies Or Antifa? A Rainbow Bus In Columbus Gets Caught In The Crosshairs

In early June, the Columbus, Ohio police posted a picture on Facebook of a rainbow school bus painted with animals and trees.


“This bus was stopped yesterday at Broad St. & 3rd due for obstruction of traffic,” the post reads. “There was a suspicion of supplying riot equipment to rioters.”

It goes on to say that “bats, rocks, meat cleavers, axes, clubs and other projectiles” were found on board, and that charges are pending.

The owners of the bus, however, a group of performers who named the vehicle “Buttercup,” say that they were just there to dispense food and first aid to the protesters.

1. My lady and I drove a 1971 Ford B-600 school bus (exactly like the one pictured)

For three years in the early 90's, to put it simply the police think you are doing something wrong all the time. We got stopped and searched at least 40 times in the three years we had it.
A small list of the reasons...
1.drugs or drug smuggling.
2.hiding underage runaways.
3.sleeping.
4.being awake.
5.watching t.v.
6.parking.
7.cooking.
8.running a wood stove or air conditioner.
9.walking the dogs.

And the best one...
Getting woke up and accused of dealing methamphetamine, it took 30 minutes to explain to the 15 cops that sleep and Meth ain't the happening thing,lol

If they did, I am giving them a pass. Weed proves that they had no malicious intent.
