However, the one-day change is not going to alter the fact that there will be demonstrations. It’ll be very interesting see how these protests are handled, i.e., location, police turnout, treatment of protesters, tv coverage, etc.

My guess is that media coverage is going to be extensive, and not only by US outlets.
