There was another police shooting of a 27 yo black man in Atlanta this evening. It's another

horrible act. As much as I can gather this guy fell asleep in a Wendy's drive thru. People were driving around him. I guess aomeone called the police. They woke him & I guess they asked him some more questions and he got out of his car. Something spooked him & he ran away from the cops. Next I heard they shot him.

He was asleep in his car, blocking a Wendy's drive-thru lane. The cops were called and woke him up, spoke with him and decided to arrest him (presumably for DUI or public intox). He resisted and scuffled violently with them, during which he grabbed one of the cop's taser and ran. He wasn't "spooked" -he was resisting arrest by fleeing.

Equals getting shot in the back, and killed. They may have just shot him anyway...after all he was drunk. If I were him, I'd run too. At least you have a chance.

Protests all day Saturday then all hell broke loose Saturday night.

Police chief resigned Saturday and the cop that shot the guy has been fired, announced around midnight Saturday night.
