7. I have relatives who have been worried about "America ending as we know it" ever since Obama.

It's a propaganda meme anchored in racism and expanded to liberalism in general. My aunt, retired now, who has a PhD in history for Christ's sake, has actually been reduced to living a life in fear of exactly that: America as we know it will end if democrats are in control.

And she was an intelligent, firebrand liberal growing up in the sixties. But then, a marriage to a right winger about 15 years ago and ever since Fox News, right wing radio and web sites. Now she lives in fear. Not just concern or disagreement, but actual fear.

That's exactly the shit Gingrich is trafficking in. He knows that.

Nicolle Wallace is one of the most searing voices against Trump on a daily basis on a national TV network. She reaches people that a circle jerk on DU or Daily Kos won't.
