I am so over Michael Moore. Now he's got that thing retweeting a brietbart article about him

warning America not to underestimate "white male rage." I refuse to attach the tweet or the breitbart article. He's turned into the darling of the reich wing and he just needs to stfu already.

Sorry, I just had to get that off my chest.

And I know I'm far from alone. Someone might want to remind Mr. Moore that there's quite a lot of us who hate Trump, both white and non-white, males and females, and we're pretty pissed off too.

I'm sick of hearing about white male rage.

Austin in rural Texas and am surrounded by ranchers and blue collar workers. They absolutely love Trump. Hard to believe but TRUE. As Moore said 2/3 of white men and a little over half of white women voted for Trump in 2016. The key to us winning the election will be turnout. I do think it is imperative that Biden chooses someone that can add some excitement to his candidacy. I think Hillary made a bad mistake in her pick.

I have said for years "never underestimate nasty white people". I say this as a white person. Just look at our actions through the decades.

I DID NOT like Moore's "Planet of the Humans" message at all. It was an out for the climate change deniers.

THE KEY TO 2020 IS THE TURNOUT OF YOUNG PEOPLE AND BLACK/LATINO VOTERS. The protests give me hope.

Democrat voted Republican in rejection of just too many advances of equality with them too fast. Increases in equality of women (half the nation!) and minorities, and increasing superiority of education, were seen as threats not just to their special privileges, but to their futures as competition soared for the dwindling supply of jobs they'd always assumed they could get.

I disagree, though, that Hillary made a bad mistake in picking a white male to appeal to them. She made the fatal mistake with them of being female.

I despise Moore, a classic tarantula unable to resist poisoning efforts toward all he claims to value, but agree this topic is important.

It matters so much that in 2016, our party leaders even offered the angry white men their own candidate to speak for them: Jim Webb, who specifically ran for just that. No one but some of them noticed or cared, and he was soon discarded. (Just looked at Twitter and there at least he's gone missing on recent domestic events.)

An extremely big issue is that every year more men, who were raised to believe their futures would include wives, homes, children, grow up to realize that may never happen for them. Too many women, who once would have regarded marriage with them as their great achievement and security, prefer the many other options available to them.

How do these men spend their 20s, 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s instead? Most adjust and find substitutes, some commit suicide, but small percentages (who total millions) are very angry at having what they see as no stake in and rejection by society, and they've been meeting on social media to discuss taking up guns and taking down our entire nation. Some want to blow it all up. Others share the goals of the White Male Power Party.

we are literally all in this together. This nation's demographics are rapidly changing and it is time for the white power structure to value people based upon their character and not their gender, skin color, sexual orientation, or national origin.

The GOP has painted itself into a corner by it's own actions or non-actions and although they will morph in order to survive their demise will be welcomed by the majority of the nation and the rest of the world.

morph as I'd also assumed, even faced with the possibility of losing everything. They decided to throw in with the kleptocracy they helped create and do away with representative government instead -- which a bunch of those potentially violent white power subversives support, aligned with Trump as Der Leader of course. They're likely protected from the worst repercussions with cushy retirements if they lose.

“What is spreading today is repressive kleptocracy, led by rulers motivated by greed rather than by the deranged idealism of Hitler or Stalin or Mao. Such rulers rely less on terror and more on rule twisting, the manipulation of information, and the co-option of elites. Their goal is self-enrichment; the corrosion of the rule of law is the necessary means. As a shrewd local observer explained to me on a visit to Hungary in early 2016, “The main benefit of controlling a modern bureaucratic state is not the power to persecute the innocent. It is the power to protect the guilty.”

“The government of the United States seems to have made common cause with the planet’s thugs, crooks, and dictators against its own ideals—and in fact to have imported the spirit of thuggery, crookedness, and dictatorship into the very core of the American state, into the most solemn symbolic oval center of its law and liberty. The man inside that oval center did not act alone. He held his power with the connivance of others. They executed his orders and empowered his whims for crass and cowardly reasons of their own: partisanship, ambition, greed for gain, eagerness for attention, ideological zeal, careerist conformity, or—in the worst cases—malicious glee in the wreck of things they could never have built themselves. They claim the symbols of the republic as they subvert its institutions. They pin the flag to their lapels before commencing the day’s work of lying, obstructing, and corrupting.

Ex- Repub insider David Frum, from his previous book. His new one coins the term "fascoid" for their attitudes and actions. Their current ones are not actions of those afraid to betray the electorate too long and too hurtfully, as they once were.

And shove it up his white ass.

EVERY time he does something like this, Moore shows that he has little concern for the elements of inequality in the country outside those of economics.

WTF are white males raging about? If any are raging against anything other than Donald Trump and the forces of inequality in this country, then they are exposing their rage as being rooted in bigoted, sexist ideologies of the past that were built to preserve their supremacy.

No, we've come to far to go back to that shit. Let them rage, but I will not be one of them. A culture which honors and respects equality is a far better ideal than the ideology these fools are "raging" for.
