Economists confirmed this week that the U.S. economy officially entered a recession in February. Coronavirus deaths in the U.S. surpassed 119,000, while the number of confirmed COVID-19 cases in the U.S. is now more than two million. Military brass, including retired generals James Mattis and Colin Powell, eviscerated Trump for his recent handling of protests. Plus Trump (and his former press secretary) lost in the D.C. Circuit Court of Appeals this week to Playboy—not to mention that the ACLU just sued the president for his use of federal force against peaceful protesters outside the White House.

Apparently, no loss of life will be too great for them to reconsider. To do otherwise would be to admit they reopened prematurely, and for all the wrong reasons.

It's obvious the deciders have conducted their cost-benefit analysis and concluded these loss-of-life numbers are acceptable to the American public. Our leaders are a pack of greedy ghouls.

These liars and sociopaths hoped to bullshit their way through a pandemic and remain in power. The Republican party is now the serial killer party.

10. Fauci: the actual number is almost certainly higher than the number reported

Some deaths classified as from covid are not. But other deaths not classified as covid are. We can estimate the net of false positives and false negatives by looking at the “excess death” total. For instance in NYC in a 7 week period the number of deaths was 24000 higher than the average number for the same dates in the previous 5 years. 24,000 is the excess death number. In that 7 weeks NYC classified 16,000 covid deaths so the actual number of covid deaths was probably about 24,000, 8000 more than reported. The actual number of covid deaths in the US is probably 30,000 or 40,000 more than reported.
