We know that in many poor urban areas, there are no real grocery stores (thus the term 'food deserts'). And we know that African Americans have been hit the hardest by the Coronavirus pandemic. After reading an article in The Guardian about a link between the most critical Coronavirus patients and vitamin k deficiency, I have to wonder if that would explain the high ratio of African American deaths from Coronavirus.

(8,390 posts)Vitamin K is found in spinach, eggs, and hard and blue cheeses. I eat these abundantly. I will look for a supplement, however. I do take a methylated B-12 vitamin, D, and C daily.
