The medias failure to meaningfully cover Trumps cognitive and physical decline after obsessing about Hillarys health is evidence of open misogyny at this point.

FWIW: muscle weakness and cognitive impairment are two side effects of the medication Trump is on to lower his cholesterol. (I've been recommended medication in the same class - so I'm in the process of compiling a case against it based on my personal low risk v. the dangerous side effects.)

(16,917 posts)it is safe to come out now with SO many calling out the BS that has been accepted for the past 4+ years.
There can still be no denying the free ride BunkerBoy had (yeah, it seems that the conductor has finally shown up to collect a fare) compared to the constant magnifying glass and "different" standard that was applied to "Should Have Been President" Clinton.

(33,992 posts)They were pointed that direction for Clinton and they are now being pointed that way (with tangible evidence) for Trump.
The other aspect is that they are always accused of left-wing bias. So they bend over backwards to make sure they are not omitting criticism of left candidates - and similarly bend over backwards to make sure they are evenly covering right candidates.

(16,917 posts)they've tended to follow the "squeaking wheel" rule: "Do what it takes to keep them quiet."
The RW Noise Box (Faux Spews, Rush, Hannity, etc, etc.,) send them cowering into corners and losing editorial or ethical judgment regarding coverage and responses.
Over and over again we have seen "unbiased" evaluations that show that indeed, there is NO LIBERAL BIAS, but, as so many other "ear worms" that have been so-well planted, too many people believe the opposite.
I am SO hopeful that we've seen a serious, seismographic shift in coverage, as well as actual public perception of what has and is taking place. We have so far to go, but we needed a special "something" to help us get started. Just SO SORRY that it took an innocent life to give it all that push.

As for physical, finally, 3-1/2 years in, difficulty taking holding a glass and walking is being noted, while Hillary getting sick on the campaign trail and resting (disappeared! hiding!) for 2 hours in her daughter's house was immediately sensationalized?
