Happy Obama Appreciation Day. Business Insider: Obama 8th Best President. Trump worst ever

This is from last year, but it's a happy reminder on Obama Appreciation Day that he is also one of the best presidents ever.

1. Lincoln
2. Washington
3. FDR
4. Teddy Roosevelt
5. Jefferson
6. Truman
7. Eisenhower
8. Obama
9. Reagan
10. Johnson
43. Buchanan
44. Trump

The only people ahead of Obama won big wars, were founding fathers, or were extremely influential.

Trump achieved worst president ever in a single term. Impeachment, kissing dictators asses, and courting racists will do that.

Why is Eisenhower ahead of Obama? Obama's handling of the economic collapse he inherited supersedes, by a light year, anything DDE did on that front.
I'm not knocking Ike, but I don't think he should be above BHO.
Also, Washington ahead of FDR?
And Reagan in the top 10? Please!
And per the article, the political scientists who did it were preponderantly D's or I's.

Unless he gets credit for his time in the military.

Being the first always gives you bonus points. Also, refusing a third term is worth extra credit.

The article doesn't make the criteria apparent. Maybe a link does.
Ike shouldn't get WW2 credit, IMO, because it should be about the 8 years. Not what happened before.
As to George, the refusal of the 3rd term is a good point.
But, I still wouldn't put him above FDR.
And I noticed you didn't comment on my Reagan thought.
Likely because we agree he belongs nowhere near the top 10.

Carter lands at 26 which is pretty decent considering how he is often portrayed.

Reagan didn't win a war, had deep scandal, ignored AIDS, and followed a fiscal philosophy that is widely refuted. He gets credit for nominating Sandra Day O'Connor, but that hardly makes up for everything else.
