This is an interesting and notable piece of American history. 3 men went to Blair House where Truman was staying to try to assassinate him. There was a shootout on the sidewalk. Truman watched from the window.

But wait, there's more. One of the assassins was sentenced to death, but was commuted to life by Truman.

Contrast that with Trump who hid in a bunker while protesters changed 100's of feet from the White House gate.
