all day long. He eventually showed up at the White House around 7pm. That morning he was visiting a classroom of little kids, reading My Pet Goat when Andy Card, his Chief of Staff walked in and whispered that we were under attack. Shortly after he gave some statement and boarded the plane. No one heard anything until he landed in DC at 7pm.

They did grab Dick Cheney and rushed him to the bunker.

shrub was in flordia at a school reading my pet goat then
jetted off on airforce one flying all over going from one
airforce base to another All day long . he didn't address
the nation til way late in the day ..
