Related: Editorials & Other Articles, Issue Forums, Alliance Forums, Region ForumsI am in the South of France , all the news channels are absolutely tearing Trump apart, practically
calling him Le président raciste des États-Unis...The entire world is looking at the United States with absolute disgust . It is breathtaking how much the execution..of George Floyd and an American Presidents reactions towards peaceful protesters for a photo op to Trumps non action do anything to offer any sort of leadership during these past weeks, besides ..stoking even more division through his tweets. He's decimated the United States standing around the world ! You need to vote that thing out in November !!!!

(43,124 posts)I love Monaco, but my all-time favourite in the entire region is Hotel du Cap-Eden-Roc in Antibes. We started our honeymoon there.

(51,567 posts)I wonder how long it will take for our former allies to forgive us if Biden wins. Since Biden already has experience and a good rapport with them so our allies may be able to welcome us back into the club fairly quickly.
I was reading about Germany and WW2 when this came into my head. Merkel said that the allies liberated Germany and saved their country. I know that she will be jubilant if Biden wins.
I was in Nice, France in 2005...in the middle of Bush 2 and I was worried that the French people would be pissed off at me but they were the opposite. They had a great philosophy..."good leaders come and go, he won't be around forever". I guess if your country is as old as theirs and they have so much history, they can look at the bigger picture. I loved it there!

(497 posts)We have a snivvler for a PM and he accepted Trump's invitation to the G7. I think it would have been more diplomatic to refuse his invitation and send our inept Deputy PM in his place. Most Aussies see Trump as a buffoon that lacks a heart, courage and a brain. We sure hope you flush the turd on November 3rd.

That our elections are rigged by the electoral college so our stooooopidest cousin's vote counts more than the educated urbane.
And that anyone touting the "enlightened" nature of the EC really, really needs to reconsider what it has done.
