Trump administration expected to attempt to block John Bolton's book: Sources

Just a week before the much-awaited book by President Donald Trump’s former National Security Advisor John Bolton is set to go on sale, the Trump administration is expected to file a lawsuit in federal court seeking an injunction to block the book from being released in its current form, sources familiar with the matter told ABC News.

The lawsuit is expected to be filed in the coming days and could come as soon as today, sources said, cautioning that some details are still being worked out.

Bolton, who departed the Trump administration last fall, was originally supposed to publish his book, “The Room Where It Happened,” earlier this year, but it was met with delays from the White House as the book went through a standard prepublication security review for classified information by the National Security Council.

Serves that Fucker Bolton right.

He had his chance to tell his story. All he cares about is making money off his book. He couldn't care less about this country.

The whole story was PR stunt for the eventual sale of his book.

All Trump had to do was declare some part of it classified just before it goes out ...

So it's not going to happen to protect his campaign

Trump has much to hide.

All John Bolton has to do is hold a presser and release what is in his book. Not give classified details, but observations on Trump's behaviors, comments, attitudes about issues. That is enough to nail Trump as unfit. I mean, look at the tizzy Trump had when Omarossa's book came oit?

Regardless of the feelings towards John Bolton and his cowardly antics so far this year, the man still has his Constitutional right to publish this book. If the Administration wins on blocking the book, it could have a chilling affect on everyone’s 1st Amendment Rights for decades to come.
