Wow! I went to the fox news site, and...

-

the comments under the SC 6-3 decision were simply amazing.

Usually, progressives don't comment much there, but we are there in droves explaining why a Fox Fan's comments are stupid.

It's almost like the DU has taken over that specific page, and I am so happy!

I don't trust ANYTHING a Republican says.......

I watched all of his mommy's (Ann Gorsuch) corruption, and I wouldn't trust anyone from that Family.........

Ann Gorsuch only barely escaped massive Felony Corruption and Fraud charges by quickly resigning when she worked for Bush Sr. and Cheney.

Edited to add an excerpt from this WP article from 2017:

Neil Gorsuch is the first member of his family chosen for a seat on the Supreme Court, but he isn’t the only Gorsuch nominated by a U.S. president to a key government post.

His mother, Anne Gorsuch, served as President Ronald Reagan’s first Environmental Protection Agency administrator and the first female leader in the agency’s history. But her short, tumultuous tenure was marked by sharp budget cuts, rifts with career EPA employees, a steep decline in cases filed against polluters and a scandal over the mismanagement of the Superfund cleanup program that ultimately led to her resignation in 1983.

Anne Gorsuch — like Reagan then and President Trump today — was a firm believer that the federal government was too big, too powerful and too eager to issue regulations that restricted business

If Trump loses and Democrats retake control of the Senate, there’s discussion of expanding the Supreme Court because of its Republican bias. If more liberal judges are added, Roberts and conservatives lose their power. This decision was really a no brainer. If they refuse to allow Congress to see Trump’s taxes, we’ll know they’re back to form.

But I've got to admit, I like what Gorsuch wrote

"Ours is a society of written laws. Judges are not free to overlook plain statutory commands on the strength of nothing more than suppositions about intentions or guesswork about expectations. In Title VII, Congress adopted broad language making it illegal for an employer to rely on an employee’s sex when deciding to fire that employee," said the court's opinion, written by Justice Neil Gorsuch.

"Notwithstanding my concern about the Court’s transgression of the Constitution’s separation of powers, it is appropriate to acknowledge the important victory achieved today by gay and lesbian Americans," Kavanaugh wrote. "Millions of gay and lesbian Americans have worked hard for many decades to achieve equal treatment in fact and in law. They have exhibited extraordinary vision, tenacity, and grit—battling often steep odds in the legislative and judicial arenas, not to mention in their daily lives. They have advanced powerful policy arguments and can take pride in today’s result."
