Of all of the political discussion I heard today, this is the question that concerns me the most. Nicole Wallace was talking to one of her regular guests who commented on voter registration being really low in African American communities (or did she say all?). She said the difference is substantial. Maybe we need a plan to safely get people registered without door-to-door canvassing.

(30,736 posts)And some county clerks are available to register voters. Things can be done by mail as well.
Those of us who normally go out and do these things in person need to write some LTTEs.

(61,695 posts)Minority registration is accomplished by person-to-person contact, door-to-door canvassing, etc. The concern is that it won't happen without that assistance, even though online registration is available almost everywhere.
