Movement afoot to replace statue of KKK founder

Progressive members of the TN legislature, including many Black members who find the presence of the KKK founder's statue in the State Legislature rotunda deeply offensive, have tried for years to have the statue removed. Who better to replace such a vile symbol of oppression that Dolly Parton?

Expressing excitement about replacing the former Confederate soldier, KKK leader, and DEMOCRAT Forrester with Dolly, apparently not realizing she's a huge LGBTQ proponent and supported marriage equality at least six years before it became law.
