If they get sick, they don't care about infecting others.
This highlights the defective brains of self-affecting Libertarians.

(15,532 posts)a grown ass "man" wearing a baseball hat backwards.
However, I would wager a bet that if he did get it, he'd be the one who cries boo-hoo. "Where's Mommy? Why did this happen to meeeeee?????"

(16,071 posts)He figures that since the mask is to protect other people, he doesn't need to wear one because...."freedom".
Then again, he said that Sandy Hook was "the price we pay for freedom".
That's the kind of person he is. I'm continually amazed that we came from the same family.

(2,113 posts)Our 85 year old mother was diagnosed with lung cancer earlier this year. She's currently undergoing treatment of radiation & chemo. He refuses - absolutely REFUSES - to wear a mask. Thinks anyone who wears one is "stupid" (his word, not mine). He moved to Houston about 6 months ago but came back to "visit" & is staying in her house. We got into it over him going to bars, parties, etc. and neither he, nor any of the other idiots he hangs with, ever mask up. He told me I was being "too cautious".
We hadn't spoken for the last few years. I tried, for mom's sake, to mend fences. That lasted about a week. Needless to say, we're not speaking again. Pretty sure this one's gonna stick. Idiot.

(16,071 posts)my mother moved near him. She and her husband are both unwell and he refuses to ever wear a mask or even distance. In fact, he brags about getting "up close" to people and leaning around the plexiglass partitions.
He's simply an asshole. I am glad he lives 800 miles away.

(82,383 posts)he's at least up front about it. Usually right wingers won't admit this, and that's why they come up with dumb scenarios about good guys with guns, teachers with guns, and so on.

(5,012 posts)You are just as likely to get a case which is never quite bad enough to get you admitted to the hospital but knocks you on your ass for months and leaves you permanently disabled. Then you'll say "I'm on SSI disability, did anyone help me?"
