A police officer had an emotional meltdown this week after workers at her local McDonalds took too long to deliver her Egg McMuffin order, and she assumed it was because they were adding poison to her meal.
The video, which was posted on Tuesday night by a pro-Trump account, shows the officer filming herself describing an anxious encounter she had while ordering breakfast.
She starts out by explaining how she ordered a coffee and an Egg McMuffin sandwich, only to then be forced to wait for a long period of time before being told to pull her car forward to the pickup window.
So I pull forward and a girl comes out with my coffee just the coffee, she said. And she hands it to me, and I had my window down, and thats all she hands to me was the coffee. So I told her, I said, Dont bother with the food because right now Im too nervous to take it
right now Im too nervous to take a meal from McDonalds.

(6,255 posts)and questioned whether she was a real cop.
No badge, just an embroidered patch, unreadable because of the mike cord. But she's "on duty" because she's wearing a mike. The video is reversed, probably because of selfie mode, which doesn't mean anything. But if I remember the video correctly, she doesn't say she is a cop -- just asks people to be nice to cops.
She does mention the corner where she is, but no city.
And one police dept., that people wrote to, has already said she doesn't work for them.
Too many questions, especially if this came from a RW site.

(118,334 posts)and while you're waiting for your food you worry and worry that they might try to poison you, so to pass the time and calm yourself down, you make a video of yourself waiting and explaining to everybody that they're planning to poison you, and then when part of your order finally comes you tell the staff you're worried that they might poison you, so then you leave in a huff and post your video online and suddenly all these strangers are suddenly treating you like you are completely full of loose nuts and screws?
I mean, I just hate it when that happens to me
Don't you hate it when that happens?

(37,161 posts)I dont know whats going on with people nowadays, but please just give us a break! she said. I dont know much more of this I can take! Ive been in this for 15 years and Ive never felt such anxiety about waiting for McDonalds food! So just have a heart, and if you see an officer, just tell them thank you!
The problem there, officer, is not external. You're the one jumping at threats that aren't there. That's your problem. It also happens to be our problem, since you're the one with guns and license to use force, but it's not going to be fixed by waving and smiling.
If your go-to thought about slow service is "they're poisoning me", that's kind of a "tell" that you have a whole slew of other problems. Which are the community's problems, because you have a badge and a gun.
