I hope that's the end of the over-the-top defenses of the police officers by people here blaming Mr. Brooks for his own death after he was shot in the back.

(10,749 posts)1. What would have happened had the demonstrations of the past three weeks not happened? Or if there had been no video?
2. There was a Georgia sheriff quoted yesterday or today as saying that what the cop did was in line with procedure. Could one conclude that he condones this behavior among his deputies? Should the actions of his department be investigated? Should he resign?
Asking for a few hundred million friends.
