It's being reported that ICE Detention Centers (For Profit Prison Camps) are

spraying detainees with disinfectant Chemicals that the manufacturer warns is dangerous. Detainees have reported that their cramped living areas are being sprayed up to 50 times a day and they are forced to remain in the areas being sprayed. They are suffering pain, bleeding and serious skin problems.

https://www.businessinsider.com.au/report-detention-centers-use-disinfectant-causing-bleeding-and-pain-2020-6

https://thecrimereport.org/2020/06/11/ice-spraying-disinfectant-on-ca-detainees-day-and-night-report/

How can you help?
1.Contact the Tom Lantos Human Rights Commission of the United States Congress at the link below.
Please urge them to investigate the use of chemical agents on detainees by a US contracted Private for Profit Prison Corporation.
This is on their website:
https://humanrightscommission.house.gov/

2. If any members of the Human Rights Commission are elected officials from your state, reaching out to them as one of their constituents can have even more impact.

3. Write to the Editors of your local newspaper to make others aware.

These last couple of weeks have been awful. First a farm in Iowa took advantage of the new Ag-Gag law and steamed thousands of live pigs to death and gassed the babies. The person who reported it was arrested. Next is the toxic poisoning of asylum seekers in the Concentration camps. If we allow it to go on people will become desensitized just like much of America has been desensitized to the cruelty of the current administration.

Give me a fucking break.

The Trump Regime is expanding its campaign of egregious, vile and inhumane persecution?

Is this going to be like the "whipping boy" from days of old? Does he need inflict horrors and punishments on his scapegoats as reciprocation for his low polls, etc.?

This is toxic and very dangerous and upping the ante on Fascist tactics, which is not surprising considering the Furors disorders.

First pursuant to your point 2, here are the members, which I found at the About section:

The Commission is chaired by two members of the House of Representatives who are appointed by the Speaker of the House and the Minority Leader. For the 116th Congress, Rep. James P. McGovern (MA-02) is the Democratic Co-Chair, and Rep. Christopher H. Smith (NJ-04) is the Republican Co-Chair. The Speaker and the Leader also name the eight members of the Commission's Executive Committee, four from each party, upon recommendation of the Co-Chairs. For the 116th Congress, the members of the Executive Committee are:

Gus M. Bilirakis (R-FL)
Debra Haaland (D-NM)
Andy Harris, M.D. (R-MD)
Darin LaHood (R-IL)
Alan Lowenthal (D-CA)
Jamie Raskin (D-MD)
Norma J. Torres (D-CA)

Second, just go to the email section of the website under "contact" to send your request. It's a form fill-in.

The orange fascist-in-chief will have some assinine "reason" why it is "justified" and not a crime. But it is a horrible crime against humanity.

And even after it is investigated, I am sure nothing will be done about the criminals who ordered it and are carrying it out. But perhaps it can at least be stopped.

Maybe we should add Pelosi to the people to contact about this. And our own Senators and Representatives as people to contact. I think I will contact Schumer and Gillibrand. My Congressman is a Tea Party R, so he's not worth the effort.

Send him to the international court in The Hague and commence hearings of his crimes against humanity. Don’t even give his stacked court system a chance to get him off.

Then hand him over to Mexico to face the crimes against their citizens. True justice would be him spending the rest of his life in Mexican prison system.

There will be no healing if we fail to mete out appropriate accountability, and from our own frame of reference.

But we can certainly investigate all these crimes against humanity when Biden wins in November so GOTV. That's all that should matter right now. Atrocities are gonna be perpetrated by this administration in the next few months, some even worse than this, but now is the time to organize. The hell with the polls. Biden is losing right now as far as I'm concerned and I'm gonna get as many people to go vote on November 3rd as I can. You should do the same.

I wonder if the House human rights commission is the right place to contact. Their website gives their full title as part of the Committee on Foreign Affairs. Foreign, not domestic.

The article from The Crime Report quotes an ICE spokesperson as claiming they are following CDC guidelines for the safety of the people in their care.

So maybe we should contact Dr. Fauci. And our senators and representatives. Imagine what AOC could do with this. It needs the kind of attention she could demand. Contact Pelosi and Schumer.

RAISE HELL ACROSS THE COUNTRY.

While Dr. Fauci could confirm that the chemicals being sprayed in the camps are toxic, the manufacturer of the chemical has already indicated that. Dr. Fauci doesn't really have authority over the human rights abuses that are taking place in the camps.
I can't determine a congressional committee that oversees this type of abuse of asylum seekers and immigrants.

I'll keep looking. Thank you for the input.

his guidelines for "the safety of the people" included dousing them with harmful chemicals every 15 to 20 minutes. So I was thinking that contacting him would give him a chance to respond to the bs that ICE is saying and doing in his name.

In the process now of trying to get some larger news publications on board and contacting the Washington Post last night. I won't stop. I'm just hoping more people can get on board with this and raise their voices.

Then push/encourage the new president and congressional members to hold investigations and hearings to identify those repugs who are responsible for the evil treatment of kids and other detainees. Fire them and where possible charge them with crimes and lock them up.
